Vintage A A Vantine Kutani Style Hand Painted Floral & Gold Small Footed Teapot
Vintage Japanese Kutani style small footed porcelain teapot. Decorated with hand painted flowers in yellow, purple, pink, and white with gold highlights. Marked on the bottom with the blue mark used by A A Vantine & Co (Ashley A Vantine), who had an import business in San Francisco and a factory in Yokohama and Nagoya around 1920 to 1930s.
Has some wear to the gilding, a tight discoloration crack to the lid, and minor damage to the handle.
Measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide x 7 inches tall with the handle extended.
This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
