GENE "Unforgettable" Doll -Mel Odom for Ashton-Drake (1998) #2958 has original box & COA
As always, Gene is dressed in the finest fashion and no doubt she is "unforgettable" no matter how she is dressed.  This Gene has platinum wavy hair, a striking contrast to her costume and very elegant.  Gene is wearing a wine color mermaid gown with peplum, with an underskirt that has 5 tulle layers which balloon out under the peplum at the hem, see pics.
Accessories are rhinestone drop earrings, mauve bead and rhinestone bracelet and necklace, wine color shoes with rhinestone, hosiery and her signature stand.
In other photos I have seen of this doll, she had a white tulle shawl, or a mauve lace scarf with mauve long gloves.  None of these items were in her box.
She is in excellent condition,  no issues with the doll or the costume.  Gene will come as shown in the pictures, as mentioned a few items might be missing.  She has #2958 stamped on her lower back, her dress label, and on the COA.  She has her hangtag, original box,  papers, no issues with the box, very good but not perfect.
