Antique Tea Kettle Japan or China Copper? Bronze? Signed Chop Kanji OLD!!.
I’ve collected anything from Japan or China for many many years… I’ve sold several pieces over the years and now going through my collection and selling more as I’m downsizing.
Pretty sure this is copper and I’m also pretty sure this is from Japan. It’s a tea kettle for one. The outside of the tea kettle has a design of vertical lines. The bottom of the tea kettle has a chop mark or a kanji embossed in the bottom - please see the photos.
The photos will show you the color, the size, the style, the design, and the condition… Other than oxidation to the copper or bronze metal I find no dents or tears or repairs to this piece.If you have any questions please contact me I will be happy to help thank you!
