    Description

Antique Japanese porcelain beckoning cat teapot. The Maneki-neko is a classic symbol of good luck in Japan. The teapot uses the raised paw as the spout. The head can be either facing forward or sideways.
There are some production flaws on the mouth of the spout. The flaws are not chips as it is glazed over. Also at the bottom of the handle there are a few more flaws that are also glazed. Some of the paint on the face is slightly worn. But the hand painted teapot is in good condition.
    Measurement:  8 3/4 inches long X 8 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide.
