Antique JAPANESE Glazed Earthenware LIDDED TEAPOT - Marked

Description

This heavy old earthenware teapot came from an estate sale years ago.  It is marked on one of the feet with a symbol as shown in one of the photos.  I tried to research it, but with no results.
Measuring 5 inches high with the lid in place, it is 8 and 3/4 inches across from the spout to the outer edge of the handle.
There is a small steam-hole in the lid.  The deep brown glaze shows shading and striations along the handle and along the spout.  The interior is smoothly glazed and there are no stains.
Any information would be appreciated and I'll add it to the description.  Thanks!
